COMING UP:

27 August 2011—Especially for Research Centre Volunteers—BACK TO BASICS IN THE LIBRARY

We would strongly recommend  that every volunteer comes along to this workshop. It will help you get back to the basic research method we recommend our Volunteers use when assisting members in their research. Facilitators: Margaret Ertner and Heather Sushames

24 September 2001 : New Members Orientation Workshop – patterned on the above course to make sure new members get to grips with what resources we have to help them with their research. Margaret Ertner and Heather Sushames

22 October 2011—FamilySearch Films—if you heard Margaret Ertner’s talk at our seniors week event in March then this workshop will take it even further. Margaret will expand on her talk  - by showing you the proper way to find the correct film before ordering.

26 November—Land Titles Workshop—Margaret Ertner will endeavor to make finding your way through the Land Titles maps easier.

All Saturday Workshop are $5.00—when booking please add your email address to the list on the notice board in the centre. We will remind you of the event a week beforehand just in case you need to pull out.  This way we can let someone else on the waiting list step into your place.  See the notice board for the Organising Workshop Requirements printout
