NATIONAL FAMILY HISTORY WEEK EVENT 13th AUGUST 2011

Our event this year will fall just outside the set week due to a full calendar.

VENUE: Gosford Lions Community Hall, rear of our Research Centre, 8 Russell Drysdale Street, East Gosford.

Time: 9.00am for a 9.30am start until around 3pm
Entry Fee: $5.00
Morning and Afternoon tea will be available in a cafe' style sit and chat area
Sausage Sizzle will be available from 12 noon or bring your own lunch
Visit our comprehensive Book Stall and browse for NFHW bargains
Central Coast Handweavers, Spinners and Textile Arts Guild Inc will be holding an afternoon open day. Pop over and browse their Craft stall.
Central Coast Potter's Society Inc will be open all day, they have a showroom full of members' creations for sale.

MORNING PROGRAMME
Visiting speakers:
9.30am - Gay Hendriksen - The Female Factories
11.30am - Gail Davis - from State Records of NSW - What's New at State Records
Research Centre open for help in getting started or breaking down brick walls
Information booths can be visited prior to and in between speakers

AFTERNOON PROGRAMME
Information booths covering various research areas:
        Family Tree Maker - Ken Clark - Computer User Group Tutor
        Trove - Australian Newspapers online - Margaret Ertner
        Irish Research - Heather Sushames
        Ancestry.com.au - Kay Rawnsley
        Findmypast - UK, Irish and Australian records - to be advised
        Swedish Research - Kay Radford (with a little help with Dutch)
        we are still working on various ideas or waiting on confirmation.
