SEWING UP DAY - 28 July 201012 wonderful ladies turned up on the 28th to help sew together our blocks. We completed two wraps. About 2pm a one member arrived with a completed wrap and sat down with us and joined in the fun. Two further wraps did not quiet get done on the day but one was handed in today (29th) completed and the other one is promised for the weekend. The phone rang and another completed set of green blocks are on the way. 
REMINDER With the help of our member's we can by next winter complete several more wraps by knitting as we find the time. We hope to keep the supply of yarn available. So ask around, family, friends and neighbours if they have any left over 8ply we can knit up. Car Boot Sales and Garage Sales are great places to pick up bags of assorted yarns - so please keep your eyes open. Please ring the Centre on 4324 5164 and leave a message for the Secretary, Marlene Bailey our Wraps co-ordinator for any further information. Don't stop knitting - keep the blocks coming.
